Trouble with the Playrust.eu Server Provider

Over the past few days I have noticed a latency connection with UK players to a UK server has been over 100 ping.
Even worse for others.

Before opening the server, me and others considering the options of either going with "Multiplay" a cheaper server provider over the current provider Playrust.eu.

In the end the vote was to go with Playrust.eu even though they are nearly twice as expensive as Multiplay, we wanted to provide the highest quality of lag free rust gaming for the community.

However, we just aren't  getting the quality we are paying for.

I opened a support ticket with Playrust.eu t see if we could receive some kind of discount until the issue is resolved; and this is the reply I received.

unfortunately I am unable to give you a discount at the moment. I am currently in contact with the developers to get rid of those issues.

After logging back into the rust server to see my character lagging up and down like a yoyo. I decided to call it quits and message them for a full refund for misleading and poor service. Again this was the reply:

Hello Christopher,

unfortunately we're unable to provide a refund for your purchase. Not only that there is no way written in our refund policy we could do that, but also because it simply isn't a problem with our hosting.
We've asked on the official mailing list and received responses like:

and it continues like that.

We're Facepunch Studios partner and we've been trying to get this resolved for two weeks now. We're trying everything we can to get this issue resolved as fast as just possible.

Im temped to drop the "Solicitor" and "UK Returns and distance selling act" hammer and see what reply I get then.

Any thoughts?

The yo yo lag happens on all servrs its a glitch .

1. Yes the ping fluctuates normally around 70 -120 only on one day did I have intermittent spikes .
2. Yes they are expensive it might be pertinent to ask them why they are so . It could be because they have to pay staff 24/7 who knows.
3. They are the "official server" providers so a + point is they get the updates first and deploy them first and all players hop on those first few servers so its a way of being first in the queue.
4.If you cant get a refund I reckon give them a chance if its not sorted before next major update we look at multiplay , however........
5. I have noticed most of the low ping muliplay servers are actually empty is this a ruse?
6.Rust is known to cause lag issues
